Sayornis LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates CalcIt.io (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit and use our Site.

CalcIt.io is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit the data you enter into our tools. All calculations, conversions, and analysis are performed entirely within your browser.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Tool Inputs: All data you enter into our interactive tools—including financial figures (loan amounts, interest rates, property values, income), unit conversion values, analysis parameters, and any other inputs—is processed entirely on your device using JavaScript. This data is never transmitted to our servers, never stored anywhere, and disappears when you refresh or close the page.
• Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (see Section 3).
• User Accounts: We do not offer user accounts or require registration to use our tools.
• Cookies for Tracking: We do not use cookies to track your behavior or identify you.

3. Information We DO Collect

3.1 Automated Usage Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that helps us understand how visitors use our Site without tracking individuals. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects:

• Aggregate page views and visits (not linked to individual users)
• Browser type and operating system (e.g., “Chrome on Windows”)
• Country-level location (derived from IP address, but IP addresses are not stored)
• Referring websites (where visitors came from)
• Page performance metrics (load times, using the browser’s Performance API)

Important: Cloudflare Web Analytics does NOT:

• Use cookies or browser storage for tracking
• Fingerprint individual users via IP addresses, user agents, or other methods
• Track you across websites
• Store your IP address for analytics purposes

3.2 Hosting and Technical Logs

Our Site is hosted on Cloudflare’s content delivery network (CDN). Cloudflare may temporarily log technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, and HTTP request data for security, performance optimization, and fraud prevention purposes. These logs are controlled by Cloudflare and subject to their Privacy Policy.

3.3 Email Communications (Future)

We may offer an optional email newsletter or marketing communications in the future. If you choose to subscribe, we will collect:

3.4 Payment and Contribution Information

If you make a contribution or payment through our Site, we use Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Stripe collects payment information (credit card details, billing address, etc.) directly—we never receive or store your full payment card information.
